Patron: Prof. Amiya Kumar Rath

Prof. Amiya Kumar Rath, the esteemed Vice Chancellor of Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our conference on sustainable business. With a distinguished career spanning over three decades, he has made significant contributions as an educationist, researcher, author, and mentor.

Previously serving as the Adviser in National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bengaluru, Prof. Rath has also held the position of Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla. His academic credentials include a master's degree (M.Tech) and a doctorate in Computer Engineering, complemented by an MBA in Systems Management.

Prof. Rath has authored around 150 research papers and nine books, mentored 13 Ph.D. scholars, and supervised 20 M.Tech graduates. He has been involved in over 150 national and international conference committees and has served as Program Chair for 15 prestigious international conferences. His contributions to education have been recognized with multiple awards and his participation in over 50 international conferences has fostered global collaborations.

Prof. Rath’s leadership and dedication to academic excellence are set to provide invaluable guidance and support to our conference, ensuring a meaningful and impactful discussion on sustainable business practices.His significant contributions to academia and research have earned him four distinguished awards. Additionally, his expertise has been sought by the NAAC, where he has served as a peer team member, contributing to the evaluation of educational quality across over 50 higher education institutions in India.

With a steadfast commitment to continuous improvement, Prof. Amiya Kumar Rath's visionary leadership and expertise are poised to propel Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha, to new heights.

General Chair: Prof. Lalit Mohan Patnaik

Prof. Lalit Mohan Patnaik, National Institute of Advanced Studies and Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, is an eminent Indian computer scientist and academician, renowned for his outstanding contributions to computer science, artificial intelligence, parallel and distributed computing, computer architecture, and computational intelligence. He obtained his B.Sc. (Engineering) from Sambalpur University and his M.E., Ph.D., and D.Sc. from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. He served as a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Automation at IISc and later as the Vice-Chancellor of the Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), Pune. Currently, he is an Adjunct Professor and NASI Senior Scientist at the National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS), Bengaluru. Prof. Patnaik has published over 1,300 research papers, supervised numerous doctoral scholars, and is a Fellow of IEEE, TWAS, INSA, IASc, INAE, and NASI. He has received several prestigious honors, including the IEEE Computer Society Technical Achievement Award, the Goyal Prize, the Biju Patnaik Award for Excellence in Science, and the CSI Lifetime Achievement Award, in recognition of his exceptional contributions to research, education, and scientific leadership.

Program Chair: Prof. Siba K. Udgata, University of Hyderabad, India

Prof. Siba Kumar Udgata is a distinguished academician and researcher in the field of Computer Science. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Berhampur University, Odisha, India. He is currently a Professor in the School of Computer and Information Sciences at the University of Hyderabad. With more than 35 years of teaching and research experience, he has made significant contributions to artificial intelligence, machine learning, optimization, distributed computing, and wireless sensor networks. Prof. Udgata has supervised numerous Ph.D. scholars, authored several books and research publications in reputed international journals and conferences, and has successfully led multiple funded research projects. He has also served in various academic and administrative leadership roles and is widely recognized for his contributions to higher education, research, and innovation in Computer Science.

Program Co-Chair and Convenor : Prof. Srinivas Sethi

Prof. Srinivas Sethi is Professor in Computer Science Engineering & Application, Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, Sarang (IGIT, Sarang), India, and has been actively involved in teaching and research since 1997. He did his Ph.D., in the area of routing algorithms in mobile ad hoc network and is continuing his research work in the wireless sensor network, cognitive radio network, and cloud computing, Big-Data, BCI, Cognitive Science. He is Member of Editorial Board for different journal and Program Committee Member for different international conferences/workshop. He is Book Editor of 4(four) international conference proceedings published in Springer, and Taylor & Francis. He has published more than 80 (eighty) research papers in international journals and conference proceedings. He completed 8(eight) numbers of research and consultancy project funded by different funding agencies such as DRDO, DST, AICTE, NPIU, and local Govt. office.

Program Co-Chair : Prof. Konstantinos Diamantaras

Prof. Konstantinos Diamantaras is a Professor in the Department of Information and Electronic Engineering at the International Hellenic University (IHU), Thessaloniki, Greece, where he also serves as Vice Rector. He received his Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, and earned his M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University, USA. His research interests include machine learning, pattern recognition, signal and image processing, parallel computing, and augmented and virtual reality. Prof. Diamantaras has authored over 200 research publications and co-authored the book Principal Component Neural Networks: Theory and Applications (Wiley). A Senior Member of IEEE, he has served as Chair of the IEEE Machine Learning for Signal Processing Technical Committee and as Associate Editor for several leading IEEE journals, making significant contributions to the advancement of machine learning and signal processing research.

Dr Bibhudatta Sahoo is a computer science professor at NIT Rourkela, India, specializing in Algorithmic Engineering, Distributed Systems, Cloud Computing, Fog/Edge Computing & IoT, and Software Defined Networks/NFV. With a wealth of knowledge and expertise in these areas, Dr. Sahoo is at the forefront of cutting- edge research and innovation. Their research focuses on developing efficient algorithms and designing scalable distributed systems to address the challenges posed by modern computing paradigms such as cloud computing, fog/edge computing, and IoT. Driven by a passion for advancing the field, they have significantly contributed to developing software-defined networks and network function virtualization. Through their research, publications, and mentorship, Dr. Sahoo has inspired and empowered countless students, fostering a new generation of computer scientists equipped with the skills to tackle complex problems in the rapidly evolving world of technology.

Prof. Manas Ranjan Kabat is Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Principal, IMIT, Cuttack, Odisha. He has been engaged in teaching and research for more than a decade and has published more than 20 research papers in various refereed international journals and conferences. His research interests include Wireless Sensor Networks and Cloud Computing. He has made significant contributions to the academic or administrative spheres of the institution and VSSUT, Burla.

Dr. Kabat has made significant contributions to the field as an editorial member and reviewer for several renowned international journals. He is affiliated with numerous international organizations and has successfully undertaken various administrative responsibilities. An accomplished author, Dr. Kabat has published numerous research articles and books on topics related to his research interests. His expertise and leadership in both academia and administration will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our conference on sustainable business.

Co-Convenor : Dr. Suvendra Kumar Jayasingh

Dr. Suvendra Kumar Jayasingh is working as Associate Professor and HOD in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Institute of Management and Information Technology (IMIT), Cuttack (A Constituent College of BPUT, Govt. of Odisha) after being selected in OPSC (Orissa Public Service Commission) in 2005. He has obtained his Bachelor of Engineering in the year 2003 from University College of Engineering (UCE), Burla (Now VSSUT). He got his M. Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering in 2007 from RVU, Udaipur and Ph. D. in Computer Science & Engineering in 2020 from North Orissa University, Baripada. He is having 20 years of teaching experience in Computer Science & Engineering and MCA. He has published several articles, book chapters in reputed National and International journals and periodicals including Springer and Taylor & Francis and has presented research papers in National and International Seminars and Conferences. He has also participated in many National and International Workshops, FDPs, Industrial Training Programs organized by IITs, NITs and NITTTRs. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Soft Computing, Machine Learning, Computational Intelligence, Database Management System and Algorithm Analysis and Design. He has published a book on “Introduction to Machine Learning” and UK patent on “Smart Home Air Quality Monitoring Device” and Indian patent on AI – Based Diary Products Testing Device”. He is a life member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).
